In the summer of 2007, Dave Procter of RE/MAX dave procter realty in Comox BC will undertake a cross Canada bike ride starting in Victoria, British Columbia and finishing in Halifax, Nova Scotia approximately 9 weeks later. He will be accompanied by his life partner Leah Reichelt, who is also a RE/MAX realtor.

Dave has been a licensed realtor since 1978, an Agent Nominee since 1993, and one of the founding owners of the local RE/MAX franchise in 1987. He is currently a co-owner of the Comox/Courtenay Offices with his par tner, Jim Gordon. Dave continues to actively sell Real Estate while Jim manages the offices.

Dave has had a very enjoyable and successful career in his profession. In 2007, when he turns 50, he wants to give back to the community and people who have supported him for the past 28 years by using this ride to raise money for the BC Cancer Foundation. Dave has asked the Cancer Foundation that all monies raised go towards Breast Cancer Research.

In planning the “Coast to Coast” ride, Dave is hoping to visit RE/MAX offices on his route and encourages realtors to come out and ride with him for the day as he travels through their community. He is hoping his clients……past, present and future will consider making a donation to this cause. A donation over $20.00 will be eligible for a tax receipt. Donations can be made directly to Dave or Leah by mail to the office address on the donation form.
